This is the worst I can remember…seems much worse than the 80s…
I agree with 86Ward this is the worse Steelers offense that I ever seen and, I'm 54 years old! Very hard to watch and, take some shots down the field. Like the first play of the game play fake to Harris send DJ and anyone else that can fly down the field worth a shot.
this offense is offensive and gives a new meaning to UGLY
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
Its definitely not due to lack of talent that we're in the gutter. Would say overall there's more talent today then in the 80's.
OL (80's) vs OL (today) - edge to the 80's team (declining Webster, Wolfley, Tunch, Terry Long)
RB - Warren/Harris > Abercrombie
QB - KP say wash at this point with Malone, but i'd say Kp's ceiling is higher than MM and he'll show that as the season goes on
WR's - DJ, Pickens, Claypool > Lipps, over the hill Stallworth
TE - PF >> over the hill Bennie and whoever they had behind him
Worst steelers offense in the last 50 years at least.
In the 1980s,at least the steelers had a running game....In the top 10 in rushing yards for most of the time
Ranked 32nd.

It surely is, but there is reason for hope in the long run.
Fire the OC.
Get another OL on the left side.
Do those two things and you likely have a middle of the pack offense.
Add another OL and figure out what to do about RB and you could have a top 12 offense. Most ingredients are there. Honestly, as painful as it is to watch...this is far better than it could be for Year 1 post HOF QB.
They need an OC that is creative and can put players in position to succeed.
They need 3-5 Offensive Linemen. There’s not one on there that can hold a block man-to-man. Not one. Not one of them know what to do on a regular basis and if the defense stunts? Forget about it…
They need OL depth. They have none now…other than the starters. Want to keep the starters as the depth players? That’s fine…but that’s all they currently have now is NFL Depth as starters.
Anybody look at the offensive stats from week1 through this game? True stats are just numbers without context, so add in the context from the games. Where are the improvements vs where are the setbacks? Yes, both exist.
