We'll see, but Wheaton had played in the 3rd preseason game when the starters were playing.I hope this is not something like Shazier in early of the season last year.

In all seriousness though, I would not be opposed to keeping Wheaton out even if hes cutting it close to 100%. Plenty of depth, and i would rather not see Wheaton go down in the long term

I won't guarantee it but with Norman in Washington, we can assume that Antonio Brown will be a non-factor Monday night. So we will have to hope someone...ANYONE step up, or we lose and lose badly.

The only time that Antonio Brown has been a non-factor in the last 3 years it was when Vick was our QB.

And he burned Chris Harris of the Broncos last year, so I'd be surprised if Brown is not a factor tomorrow.

And seriously? Watching what AB's done in the past 3 seasons and you think this is a certainty? AB has laid waste to an assortment of top flight cornerbacks. AB could easily end up having a typical AB game

Not a certainty. But with Norman, and what I assume will be a double team on him....some of our younger guys have to step up. Maybe they will.Or maybe our D will show up. But on the road, and on a emotional opening Monday night, it will be hard.

i remember doubting AB's aptitude for an encore performance for about the past 3 seasons. that went horribly for me. Norman's overratedness is going to get exposed. he's not even a top 5 cornerback. time to set the paper tiger ablaze

Ah yes, the kitty's prediction. Norman is going to shut down AB . . . our offense will not be able to get a first down and our def will get torched by the almighty Redskins (while winning their division, are garbage and only made the playoffs because someone from their conf had to). Lets get real, AB will be fine, and if they do 2x cover him (which I fully expect) then we can torch them with 3 other WR's we have on our roster. Going to see a Coates coming out party. We will run just fine also. Our DL is intact after an early week scare so we should get plenty of pressure on the Skins.

My son is starting AB, Coates, and D.Williams tonight on his fantasy team. After Sunday's games, he is 1 pt behind his opponent who has zero players playing tonight.
