Hopefully a change in scenery does BOTH good. Respected Olsavsky, but the on-field results from our recent ILBs did not warrant an exclusion from trying to improve the coaching.
To be honest, I thought with the addition of Brian Flores that our defense would have improved dramatically. One more defensive minded coach of a high caliber in the room was definitely a bonus. Now obviously Watt was out for a significant portion but I wasn't impressed with the progress overall. Especially with the run D again. A lot of factors involved so you can't only look at one coach.
Bottom line, I'm looking forward to the change and the different viewpoint he may bring to scouting LBers.
