Better to kneel down and then kick away the ball to start the second half, so they have the ball for like 15 minutes straight without us trying a legitimate offensive play.

This is what superior coaching does for a team. I said in the game day thread that this was the kind of game where the Steelers would get outcoached in, and its turning out to be true.
