Statement on behalf of the family of Kirby Wilson:
"Mr. Wilson remains in serious condition in the Trauma Burn Center at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh. His status is stable, and he has started his physical rehabilitation. The Wilson family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support."

Still in "serious condition." That is a little upsetting but at least he is stable.

My very uneducated guess is that at this stage in the game, "Serious condition" is probably about right. I seem to remember something about it taking months to heal from burns like this, and it is a very long, slow process. Again, my uneducated guess.Originally Posted by GBMelBlount
But I do absolutely agree with your sentiments.... all my best and my prayers on his road to recovery. It'll be an emotional moment to see him walk out onto the field at some point next year.
