Interview with small school prospect Jovontay Williams

Very productive small school tweener who looks Taylor made for a 3-4 rush OLB or a situational pass rusher in the 4-3 http://topsportsreport.com/?p=148948

On most of those plays, he lines up far outside the offensive tackle, something he would not get away with in the NFL. Any decent tackle will shield him from the pocket and let his own momentum take him past the QB. On some plays he goes completely unblocked. The play where the tackle goes low is just a joke.

that is how it goes with prospect coming from college , many things they do there does not work in the nfl because its a different game and totally different level of competition ... however he would not be playing DE in the NFL he is a OLB in a 3-4 based on size and skill set , thus a transition would have to be made there as well from hand in dirt to a stand up guy on the outside ... but we are not talking about a 1st round pick here either obviously late round or UDFA
