I'd have no problem with a day 3 pick spent on Jamie Newman. I really don't see the Steelers drafting any QB in the first 3 rounds this year, but taking one who is raw with ability on Day 3 sounds like a good plan to me.Quote:

Newman is big, athletic, has a real strong arm, but I think they year of not playing last season has hurt his draft stock. Look at his Wake tape and you see the ability, but he didnt perform consistently at Senior Bowl. He has been working out with Quincy Avery, who is also QB coach for Jalen Hurts, Trey Lance, Josh Dobbs and others.
