I never said he shouldn’t be there...he should absolutely be there. All I’m saying is that it wasn’t mandatory so he’s not missing anything taht he is obligated to be at so you can’t really bag on him for missing practice because it’s not mandatory.

I can when he says he's all about helping his new team win a superbowl, but his actions betray him. If he was truly about helping his team win he would be there. Especially when he sat out the entire season just last year and coming into a new system. He should be there proving his coach is wrong about him and that he is worth what the team paid him. Voluntary does not mean un-important simply that the team can't fine you for not showing up.

when you're stoned you don't throw furniture, you would rather just go and see what's in the fridge...

He's only there to collect a check. I honestly think mentally he cashed out long ago. Dude doesn't want to play football. He wants to collect his big payday, retire, and party it up the rest of his life lol

Actions speak louder than words, what does it say when someone wants the maximum amount of money possible for the minimum amount of work? Someone who really wanted to win would be out there working, optional or not. Especially with a new team and a totally new offense.

Oh, I don't know. I'd guess it was probably insured. And besides, most jewelry can be sold for what it was paid, if not more depending on the value of the metal/gem. Unless, of course, you're talking about the money Bell paid for the two "girlfriends."

I'd be really surprised if he was smart enough to insure them.

hey, at least the Jets know Le'Veon is dedicated.

he went to the gym for 2 hours while he had two naked women in his bed. now that's what’s what I call discipline.

very impressive indeed, Le'Veon is obviously going to have a big year...

First Call: Le’Veon Bell’s latest rap

    Le’Veon’s latest
Le’Veon Bell is releasing a new rap album on July 25.

That’s the same date as the start of training camp for the Jets. Because, well, why not, right?!

I mean, why think football at the start of camp?

The lyrics aren’t exactly safe for work. So, play it at your own risk with the speakers up.

The video looks like a real epic as well.

The Jets better hope Bell is putting in as much to his football efforts as his music career.

Happy that Bell is no longer a Steelers.

Aside from the weed issues and wannabe rap artist (neither of which reached AB levels) when didn’t he show up prepared and why is it that everyone says he was a great locker room guy? No reason other than Adam Gase and his moronic offense that Bell wouldn’t be productive. Gase will be the one that keeps him from being productive...not Bell himself.

and their offensive line....I heard by Michael Lombardi that in the last 5 years, the Jets have not drafted an offensive line in the first 4 round !!!

I believe that in the NFL history, only Barry Sanders would remain productive behind a horrible o-line, because of his style and he is so fast,he was so unique and things like that .... But this is the only exception.
