I don’t think replacing Canada with “just a guy” will help much. This is a young offense that obviously needs to be coached up, as well as schemed open because Pickett is struggling.
A just slightly less bad OC won’t really make us competitive until these players get better.

I think that is why they didn't call it. But Peezy had that issue in college and he had to clean it up.
Glad for the win and the defense deserves all the credit, but this model of the defense scoring TDs every week is not sustainable. Lots of blame to go around with the offense, but the decision to bring Canada back is turning out to be the biggest off-season blunder.

Great to see the win. We got the win on big splash plays but the entire team is fundamentally not playing well. Cleveland moved the ball pretty well the whole game and most of our defense can't seem to tackle at all (this is a recurring theme the last few years...very frustrating). The offense in general just looks inept and the O line doesn't look good. Najee does not have a quick first step. He needs one FULL step of momentum after he gets the ball to be effective. IF he gets that full step he can be very hard to stop and will run over people but he's fighting off tacklers in the backfield almost every play (it's looked like that the previous 2 seasons as well). I think Kenny will come around as the season goes on, but Canada isn't helping him. Some of the play calls they might as well display a sign to let everyone at home know what player they are running each snap because the defenses already seem to know...they aren't catching anyone off guard on 90% of these play calls. Someone should put a hood over Canada's head, toss him in the back of a van and let him loose somewhere south of the border. He's useless.
