The game vs the Patriots.
One thing I’ve noticed over the past few years is that DB’s are too focused on INT’s vs actually stopping a receiver from catching the ball. Especially in the end zone. How Duvernay caught that TD was something. It pales in comparison to the end of the Raiders-Titans game. How that TD was allowed was shameful.
But the ravens would be better if Lamar would be in a another position
Yeah Lamar at one point yesterday had 125 yards passing and 4 TDs. Crazy. Normally, it takes about 100 yards for each TD pass.
But he finish the game with over 200 passing yards and over 100 rushing yards and overall the ravens have scored 37 points. He had also 325 of the 394 yards for the ravens.Great game by him!
The Ravens have also the number 1 scoring offense and number 4 in yards...Their defense is bad right now too(24th in scoring defense and last in yards)

First 3 games,he was great but not the case since week 4
I keep posting the game summary films so we can have evidence to discuss once LJ's new contract happens. Is he worth 'elite' money, or does he belong on another prove it deal? There is no questioning how dynamic he is when he takes off running. I don't see elite QB with him overall though. Maybe the ravens fork over the money anyway and it costs them when it comes time to find FAs.
Ravens are still a Super Bowl favorite and Lamar the MVP front runner. So will say the media.
The interception of Lamar when the ravens were up 20-17 with less of 3 minutes play was just awful.
That game yesterday was so boring I turned it off at halftime, but it sure looked like Jackson cost them the game with another patented off-balance pop fly.
Back in his first couple years when someone caught a few of those, people were like, "Wow, what athleticism! Who else can make that throw!" Now that there's been more time for the law of averages to do its thing, it's more like "Oh yeah, you're probably going to make some really bad mistakes if you're always uncorking ill-advised junk balls like that, you were just lucky. No wonder no one else makes those throws, it doesn't work."
Please, give this guy a big contract!
See you Space Cowboy ...

Ravens HC John Harbaugh says he addressed vulgar tweet with Lamar Jackson
A day after Lamar Jackson deleted a vulgar and offensive tweet directed at a critic, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters he met with his quarterback to discuss the "out of character" remarks.
Following Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Jaguars, a Twitter user tagged Jackson in a post that said: "someone asking for over $250 million guaranteed like [Jackson] ... games like this should not come down to [kicker Justin Tucker]," adding, "let Lamar walk and spend that money on a well-rounded team."
Jackson responded in a message with profane and demeaning language.

I didn't look at the entire conversation if there was one. The quote he is responding to is just a guy saying he would spend the money somewhere else and let Jackson walk or trade him. He didn't call Lamar Jackson any names or say anything personal to him. Even if the person is a scumbag and said something horrible, Jackson has to be better than that.
So Jackson gets his feelings hurt, and makes homophobic remarks to someone that is obviously a man and has a hissy fit that is more in character with a lowlife. He should know better and comes off as a complete fraud in regard to his character.
But we all have to hear about watching what we say and hate speech. So much of the NFL stance is complete bullshit when their own players are doing what they are accusing other people of doing to certain races, religions, sexual orientation, or beliefs.
I'm not ready to bury the guy. He has conducted himself very well to this point and I actually like him and think he is a good kid.
What I can't stand is how he won't be called out by all the people that are willing to call out anybody that says something they don't like. It's hypocritical, and it's wrong.
