We all know that the Steelers will promote from within. But it’s fun playing what if.

    That’s not a flattering picture.

Did the Lions fire him? That was his most recent gig.

Better hire Josh McCown before the Texans scoop him up!

Zoinks! That’s a badly run organization.

Some of that article has to fall on the mess that was the coaching staff. I’m not endorsing Dorsey as the next guy just throwing the name out there. He built a pretty nice team in KC and really the team wasn’t that terrible in Cleveland. Also was a consultant for the Eagles last year or year before maybe? I think he’s still with the Lions as an executive.

Agreed. I’m just never a fan of the recycled “big name” that seems to be going mostly on reputation and connections.

I’m hopeful that the Steelers identify and hire the next “Dorsey” or “Colbert” or “Wolf” etc.

Those guys are toiling away as the #2 or #3 in some NFL FO right now. Hope they figure out who that is.

True. It’s almost certainly going to be either Omar Khan or Brandon Hunt.

    Hopefully they get it right!

I think he is. Others will disagree.

Should be interesting to see lay out.

Rampant internet speculation that Easterby has a big say in how Texans hire is church buddies with McCown.

Maybe nothing but it’s out there.

How much does Khan know about football? I mean Colbert has a football mind and he and Tomlin worked well together.

Packers OC to lead the Broncos. Gotta assume a push for Rodgers comes next.

Push for Rodgers and Adams? How was the OCs relationship with Rodgers?

My understanding is that Rodgers really likes Hackett. I think he said something along the lines of how he hopes Hackett doesn't go anywhere unless Rodgers goes elsewhere.

If Rodgers wants out of GB...Denver is a pretty good option. And I think Denver (despite their denials) is going to take a pre-draft swing on making this happen.

Trade a bunch of picks, maybe one of their WRs, and a couple of other younger players for Rodgers and hope you can gin up the cap room to bring Adams on board?

Suddenly that is team that has vaulted itself into the AFC conversation....

question is would Aaron Rogers at this late date want to put himself in the same division as young gunslingers Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert .. where he would likely fight each year to wind up with a mediocre record and likely no playoffs ???

I dunno ... doesn't seem like it is putting yourself in the best possible place to succeed but what do I know
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles problem now

Totally agree. I would want to stay in the NFC. In fact, I would want to stay right where I was. The rest of that division is several years away from competing. All I would want to do is make sure that upper management has a plan for retaining most of the talent despite the reported cap issue(s).

If you could choose, why would you want to jump into the AFC...anywhere...Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, (maybe) Lawrence, L. Jackson, and then who knows who the rest of the AFC brings on board to compete....that is potentially a murders row of QBs to run each season...
