On the Steelers: Wallace no longer a one-trick receiver

Mike Wallace flashed more than one trick again. He showed more sleight of hand with a shoestring catch of a low, 53-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger. He displayed another, when, on a running play from the 2, he read his quarterback's mind and, with no audible call, ran a fade route for a 2-yard touchdown.

I impressed with Wallace so far this season. We need to lock this guy up long term.

Yes, and not the same way as Burress or Vick.

I don't have any doubt that we will lock him up come the off season. If he keeps going this way, the Steelers may regret not signing him this year.

I wonder if he has a 200-250 yard game lurking in those legs. I think somewhere this season he will hit for 200 yards. Could be the Colts. If Ben can get 3-5 seconds, Wallace will be open for some long ones this week.

He's in his 3rd year. School is over and he passed.

On reality: Wallace hasn't been a one-trick receiver since 2009.
