    Rate my team

Hey guys just had my 12 team draft today and just wanted some feedback on my team. I picked in the 11th spot and was quite surprised with my first pick falling to me, hopefully his hamstring is good...

    Starters
    QB Ben
    RB Foster
    RB Mendenhall
    WR Bowe
    WR Marshall
    TE Daniels
    K Suisham
    DEF SD

    Bench
    QB Mark Sanchez
    WR Julio Jones
    WR Emanuel Sanders
    RB Beanie Wells
    RB Mike Tolbert
    RB Ben Tate
    TE B Pettigrew
    DEF Houston

QB's flew off in first 2 rounds and first def was off board in 4th round which was GB, Pit was 4th def to go and was in 5th rd

On paper it looks good.....I think J Jones is a great pickup. Starters look great, bench is a little weak. You should have a good season providing everyone stays healthy

    Re: Rate my team

I actually like your bench. Beanie is the guy pretty much in Arizona now so he could be decent and Tolbert is a goal line tank. I still think there are question marks around Ryan Mathews too.

Then you have two WR's in Jones and Sanders with huge upside. So while I understand why hindes204 says it is a little weak, I think there is nice potential there.

Starters look pretty good too both backs are TD machines and I am not bias when I say I think Ben will have a great year. Foster is a great pick, where did you pick him at? I ask because many people I know think he is only a one year wonder but I totally disagree. It also sucks that he has this hammy issue but when healthy I have no doubt he will produce.

    Re: Rate my team

thanks for feedback. I got Foster with the 11th pick and i wanted Calvin Johnson coming back in 2nd rd but Mendenhall fell in my lap & I couldn't pass him up. I don't think Foster is a 1 hit wonder he came on strong for final 2 games in 2009 and I saw his potential and had him last year also..... Hope I win this thin cause first place is almost a grand...

Makes it so much more fun when there is money involved, lol. Here is my roster for the big money league Im in:

    Starters:

    QB - Ben
    WR - Roddy White
    WR - Miles Austin
    RB - Lesean McCoy
    RB - LeGarrette Blount
    TE - Greg Olsen
    W/R - Shonn Greene
    K - Janikowski
    DEF - NE

    Bench:

    WR - Steve Smith (car)
    QB - Sam Bradford
    RB - Ladainian Tomlinson
    WR - Lance Moore
WR - Antonio Brown (my homer pick, lol)
    TE - Jared Cook

    What do you think?

Im hoping Olsen has a solid year in Carolina with Cam dumping off passes to him left and right. I also have a good feeling about Blount this year.

I think it sucks only having a 6 man bench...I'd like to have another RB available. But overall pretty good team. Roddy White and Miles Austin is a pretty nice tandem at WR and nice depth with Steve Smith (if he stays healthy and cam can get him the ball lol). Are you really in love with Lance Moore or anything cause if you don't love him maybe try to find another solid RB. (5WRs and only 3RBs) Unless it is a PPR league then I'd stay with what you have.

McCoy will be good and will catch alot of balls too and I agree with you on Blount. He should be a tank!

Olsen is good but I would fear Shockey taking some away from him since Shockey has had a good preseason.

    Overall nice team hindes

You have Peyton Hillis AND Ray Rice automatic ZERO!!

OK, seriously now it doesn't look too bad. I personally think Matt Stafford (IF he can stay healthy) will be a top 10 fantasy QB this season. Ray Rice is a great pick especially for a PPR league. I really like Nicks and Burress should be decent. Jacobs will be good.

I'm not a fan of Moreno but he could be ok. I just personally don't think very highly of him.

Also Hillis will be good at the beginning of the year but if they run him to death like they did last year, watch out for his drop off like last year.. Its like he hit a brick wall, he did NOTHING those last 5 weeks or so.

Neither am I... Although any running back on a team with John Fox as a coach is gonna get a lot of touches...

My thoughts are the same on Stafford to... if hes healthy Championship! if he gets injured again....Trading Moreno haha

I think he can be, they of course are going to run the ball a lot but with Holmes on the other side I don't see why Plax can't produce solid numbers. I don't think he will be one of the top fantasy WRs or anything but he will be solid.

Could be a red zone target too so definitely potential to be good is there.

Plax would be a great number 3 or 4 wideout for any FF team imo.

I'm in the same boat as you with Peyton Manning sitting on the bench. Kyle Orton is my starter lol...I have Flacco but I'm not starting him against Pittsburgh.

You know, I think I would still start Rice. He'll probably at least get one score. I don't see us shutting them down completely and they will have to run the ball around the goal line to keep us honest.

You could be right, I looked up what he did on us last year and he scored 2 and 4 points...so I don't know but he is my best players so I might just be forced to.

ESPN is projecting him at 16.

I like it XT. you are freakin loaded at WR with fitz, jones, and marshall. McFadden when healthy can easily be a top 5 back.

Peyton is beginning to look like the Peyton we all know. Too bad you couldn't get decker he's gonna be great

I love my WR. Jordy caught 15 TD's last year and seems to be Rodgers favorite target and Julio is a beast. But past that I am a little thin. Miles Austin can never stay healthy but he will probably be ok for a spot start here or there.

I'd say your team is pretty good, with some decent depth. You'd better hope MJD plays, though...that's a pretty big gamble.
