I'm not sure I quiet remember as I was playing Xbox at the time... But I believe he was hit with a leg whip by his own teammate making a tackle in the backfield. The view they showed it from you couldn't see the actual hit on the knee. But you could tell it was serious. He got up and walked off the field under his own power and I believe one of announcers said "Well, that's a good sign" and I believe Gruden said "He isn't out of the clear yet, people walk off the field under their own power all the time and later get an MRI and it can be something season ending." Later on I believe they informed everyone he had a torn ACL.
