Steelers' D better with Hair, Glare

PITTSBURGH - As the players filed past coach Mike Tomlin into the locker room following the Steelers' 24-14 preseason win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday night, he had a special message for safety Troy Polamalu.

"Hey 43, I'm over it," Tomlin said to the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

What Tomlin was over was his initial anger over Polamalu's dipping, darting, crazed return of a Michael Vick interception at the end of the first half.

The 36-yard return was unnecessary for Polamalu, who played a large portion of the 2010 season with a partially torn Achilles' tendon......

Everybody just needs to come to grips with the fact that both Troy and Ben play reckless and Harrison will always play on the edge. It's what meake all three of them great and what has taken us to 3 superbowls.
