    Redskins release kicker Shayne Graham

    After getting released by the Bengals last season Graham joined the Patriots after Pro-Bowler Stephen Gostkowski was lost for the season due to injury, Graham played solid and was 14 of 14 in 9 games including the playoffs but 13 of his 14 kicks were from the 30-39 range or less with his longest of the year been 41 yards.

    However, he struggled in camp and missed two kicks in the Redskins pre-season opener, which cost him a job with the team.

    I never thought he was a clutch kicker and, I just remember when he played with the bungles. He would miss kicks from 35 yards and less than that. It was surprising he kicked as well as he did last year for the cheats.
