Every year it's the same story. They continue to miss the point as to why the Steelers are successful and they are not.

I felt like a therapist reading that article. Sheesh they dont even try to deny it anymore that were on their heads. Theyve had so many more talented players compared to us but they forget that you win the game as a TEAM.
What a difference the proper outlook would make. Teamplay and beating every opponent, not concentrating on one single one. If, er, when we beat them in the first game, their season may be over.
Well no waiting this year, we got'em week 1.
It's pretty much a given that beating the Steelers is the Ravens' Super Bowl now. The only reason the Ravens should be focused on the Steelers is because it's their first opponent in Week 1. But even if it weren't a Week 1 matchup, who would be willing to bet that the Ravens would still be babbling about beating the Steelers? They're in their heads that much.
It hasn't occurred to Baltimore that there were no Steelers standing in their way in 2006 and 2009, and the Ravens still weren't able to get to where they wanted to. Surely it must be a part in the bigger picture they're not looking at, but they still don't get it.
Get rid of Harbaugh and they have a chance
keep him and you'll have the same results
"We're a team. There's no offense. There's no defense. There's no special teams. We're one. We're a band of brothers." – Ben Roethlisberger
At least Newsome gave credit to the Steelers causing those mistakes.
The thing that irritates me is that when Pittsburgh makes mistakes (and gets blown out in the first half) then the Ravens are writing the script and when the Ravens get blown out in the second half, instead of the Steelers writing the script, the Raves are STILL writing the script, only the wrong way.
Newsome acknowledges that mistakes made are mistakes forced.
I still say Don banks along with Peter King are steeler haters. I guess they watch the games differently then I do.
I hear what ur saying its only week 1 dont get me wrong i want to win this game. But its funny how they will call this a revenge game its only week 1 we always beat them when it matters. Not just this game by if the Steelers played the Jets they would hype this game to know end we beat the Jets in the AFC Championship game but they would call this a rematch but you cant compare a Playoff gm to a regular season game.
I hate that outlook. EVERY regular season game is meaningful, especially division games.
When we missed the playoffs after winning SB43, we missed the playoffs by one game. If we would have won just one game, we would have made the playoffs and had a chance to defend our Super Bowl championship.
If we were to lose week one and the Ravens won the division by one game, we would all be able to point to Week 1 and say if we won that game, we win the division.
