Now wonder the Raiders are over the cap. They gave Michael Huff four-years, $32 million. Wow
So, that's 4/$32 for Huff, 5/$48 to Kam Wimbley, and (in February) 3/$31 for Stanford Routt.
Wow.

Wow.
The Raiders will never go anywhere as long as Al Davis remains in charge
Eh... ya never know. Al is old... not dumb.
Trust me, I'd like to see my team under new ownership at this time, but Al has "been there and done that". Granted, he makes poor decisions these days, but I would never bet against him, even though he's not my favorite guy these days.
No, not really. Al is.......................... an enigma wraped in a riddle, but not even close to dumb.
i thought they where 17 million over the cap?
For those i love i will sacrifice.
Si ventus non est, remiga
Ya not dumb... how long since the last superbowl?? ... the guys decision making is so outdated...
Agreed, but what does being outdated have to do with being dumb?
He should just stop now and sell the team.
There are quite a few Raiders fans that agree with you, myself included. Unfortunately, this is a "death do us part" situation. Al will keep the team untill the day he dies. We Raiders fans just accept it because that's just the way it is.
It would be nice if he would accept a little help, but it seems his pride won't let him. It's like trying to get your 80 year old father to change his ways...... it aint gonna happen.
Sooner or later divine intervention will determine a new course for the Raiders, be it good or bad. The future after Al is a blank canvas for the Raiders. We fans can only hope the new regime paints a masterpiece.
I don't believe Al's dumb. He's getting old and his mind isn't what it used to be. He still has his moments...
Like the new CBA deal.
31 teams vote YES... Al abstains.classic.
He's definately one of the few characters left of the old guard.
However, being a Steelers fan obligates me to dislike anything Raiders so ... F-you Al!![]()
So anyway, Huff hits the big money.
I recall him being a heavily tauted draft prospect. I guess he's panned out better the Gallery.

It took him a couple of years to "get it", but he has become a very solid player. However, he definitely needs to improve his tackling.
Gallery was/is a fairly good guard, but he was drafted as the premier LT in the draft as a franchise player. Since he couldn't make it at the LT spot, I consider him a bust.
All this just makes me, for myriad reasons, even more glad I am not, and will never be, a Raiders fan.
