I know what a bummer. Heyward is still a great pick though, and I'm sure we'll get the best available at 63.

I'm just not sure the difference between Curtis Brown and Curtis Marsh is all that great.

Cleveland are building a huge 4-3 d line. They are trying to get big with Taylor and Sheard

You got to love "Chuckie." He thought the Patriots might pick QB. Given how many QBs he had at TB, I bet he could come up with a scenario whereby ever team should draft one QB. The guy gets a serious man-crush on every QB in the league.

The niners got a good QB...the guy is a beast...he's going to be a more athletic Josh Freeman type...and he'll have that same impact for the niners....

Think Kaepernick is the best QB chosen so far. And he should flourish under Harbaugh

In the second round where the money is low, the upside because of the sheer talent and smarts he has on the field is worth the risk.

I obviously don't know Mallett and his makeup but I think the character concerns are overblown.

And with the 6th pick in the second round the Arizona Cardinals select the first player the Steelers decide to let go.

Another RB for AZ? What about Hightower and Wells? AZ needs a pass rusher and a QB.

They all interviewed him and they are passing. I wonder what attitude he went into the draft process with.

Rumor has it that he called in sick for a scheduled interview because he was out on the sauce the night before

Mallett did visit with Carolina in the morning before leaving home sick. And for what it's worth, his agent reported that he was in his hotel by curfew.

Mallet is the only one left

if the dolphins truly want him they better trade now
