Ed Bouchette: Roethlisberger Talks Engagement, Super Bowl Loss

Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette joined Joe Starkey and Josh Miller of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about a one-on-one interview he did with Ben Roethlisberger at Ben’s house earlier today.

The reason for Ed’s interview was because during the season, Ben Roethlisberger got engaged, and Ben told Ed he didn’t want to talk about it during the season because it would be a distraction for the team, so the two sat down together today and discussed all the details.

Ed told us that contrary to what everyone seemed to believe, Ben met his fiance back in 2005 and the two have known each other for some time. Ed also discussed what Ben is like in the comfort of his own home and how he has been over the last year.

We wrapped things up with Ed as he told us about the football portion of the interview he did with Ben, and said Ben wants to win more Super Bowls than any other player in the league and was upset at missing the opportunity to get closer to that achievement against the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV..............
