    Better football through chemistry?

Packers and Steelers each have 13 players on their rosters who weigh 300 lbs or more. In 1980, there were only 3 in the entire league.

You'd have also been hard pressed to find an offensive or defensive lineman who looked like they were smuggling a basketball around under their jersey in 1980. Now? Not so much. More like better football through the all-you-can-eat buffet line.

Interesting how 275 was considered heavy for a Defensive Tackle back then. Now anything under 300 is considered light for that position.

Yep. Webster, Kolb, etc. were all around 260. Even "Fats" Holmes was only 260.

If Kemo is at 344, he needs to lose some weight.

Sadly many of these men will never live to see 60. I wish there was some way that we could return to the days of the sub 300 pound interior lineman.
