    Lowest seeded Super Bowl ever

I saw last night that this is the lowest seeding combination of the two Super Bowl contenders at 2 (Steelers) + 6 (Packers).

Just imagine what it would have looked like of the Jets had won.

    SB XL was:
    Steelers (6) vs. Seahawks (1)

SB XLIII was Steelers (1) vs. Arizona (4), but AZ was 9-7.

NYG were a 5 seed when they won.

And how'd that work out for the '08 Titans or the '10 Patriots?

We beat Balt the #5 seed Jets #6 and get to play another #6 in the Superbowl. The Ultimate no excuse postseason.

Both of those teams were better than the 3 and 4 seeds though. And Green Bay has been the best team in the NFC for about 2 months now.
