Lots of game balls to give out today as it was a great performance by the entire team (well - other than the OL at times).

TROY first and foremost. The guy is a freakin' ballhawkin' animal! Pick '6 and another pick in the Bungles redzone. He's just a-freakin-mazing! :applauldit:

BEN right up there. Playing with a broken nose, a bum ankle which was aggravated in the 3rd quarter and being beaten up and cheap-shotted by the Bungles D almost the entire game. The guy is not only a Top 3 QB in this league - he's the toughest MOFO behind center that I've seen in decades!

HINES. My God that guy just never quits! He made some huge catches today that kept us in drives and was right there blocking up a storm.

WOODLEY. What else can I say? He's a beast and gets a Cartoon pick 6 to basically ice the game.

The Entire Steelers WR unit - they all played a huge role in getting us down the field on our drives today and what phenomenal hightlight reel deserving grabs by El and Wallace!

SUSHI. A perfect 3 of 3 on FG's. This young man has black 'n gold written all over him and though I'll always miss my Skip, I love the guy!

What backpedal????? I said at the beginning of the week that this game had "trap" written all over it, and that I felt they would have a letdown. I'm not backing off that - that's how I honestly felt coming off an emotional win. And early in the game, they were looking exactly like I had thought they would. They shook it off...well, the defense did anyway...and they won the game. I'm glad they did.

I always get nervous when we play the Bengals because I know they always play us tough and give us their very best, so I always have nagging little bit of doubt in the back of my miond for Bengals games.
Unfortunately for them, the bar has been set absurdly low for "their best" this year.

I think you should add the word "LINE" after "OFFENSE", Moose old buddy old pal. The Steelers O was moving the ball fairly well until they got into the red zone (which has been fairly typical the last several years) and it's quite obvious who the achilles heel of that offense is - the turnstile whose assholes pucker up when they get inside the 20 YL.

As you said, our red zone offense has been typical the past several years. It doesn't matter whether we have a healthy O-line or a depleted one like we do now. The results are the same. Field goals. The Achilles heel is BA.

I'm with you bro. BA's offense can put up all the inane stats it wants, but as long as it's terrible in situational football: 3rd downs, red zone, short yardage (although we're better at short yardage now), then BA can kiss my ass.

The OL has been crap since about 2006 as well. Healthy or depleted, they're mediocre on their best day. When you get held to a FG over and over because your OL can't get enough push against even shitty run defenses to score from the 1-yard line, you got deeper problems than the OC.
