True. But to be fair, any faction that comes along now is going to be compared to the ones you mentioned.
Unlike most other TV shows, wrestling is on 52 weeks a year. It's not easy to always come up with new and fresh storylines and characters. Most of the time, they're just putting a new spin on things that have already been done. For a while, it was looking like Aces and Eights was a total ripoff of the NWO, and although it technically is, it's different enough to be interesting, especially now with Bully as the leader. And it appears that they've got A.J. Styles playing the role of Crow Sting. Once again, it's a ripoff (if that's what they're doing), but the angle is different enough to be interesting. Besides, it's been almost 20 years since the NWO angle (wow, that's hard to believe), so this kind of storyline is actually fresh to a new generation of fans.
Tube, try to watch TNA. If you liked WCW during the mid to late 90s, it might appeal to you more than WWE. I used to be a die-hard rasslin' fan, but I stopped watching in 2004 and stayed away until late last year. It doesn't take long to get caught up on the storylines, especially when you've seen them before.
