Steelers Rookies arrive at HOF for tour

The Pittsburgh #Steelers rookies arrive this morning for a tour of the Hall of Fame.

you can follow the pro football hall of fame on twitter-

    https://twitter.com/ProFootballHOF

i havent seen any other teams rookies show up for a tour. not even the bungs or browns. if walking past 6 lombardis, and then viewing all the steelers in the hall doesnt inspire these rookies to be great, i dont know what will.

    good job FO.

They should definitely take them. Probably their best chance to ever be in it.

Oh wow what motivation for these guys to see the hall of famer's for the Steelers!

I dont know if its motivation, as much of appreciation of the Steelers legacy and the organization that drafted you. I mean, if I was a rookie, I would feel fortunate to be part of such a storied franchise and conduct myself in a way that would make the likes of Joe Greene, Franco Harris, Jack Ham, John Stallworth, etc. proud.

On the other hand, if the Bengals drafted me, I would be looking for ho's, crack, weapons and an orange jumpsuit to live up to that legacy.

Its pretty cool that we take our rooks to the HoF. Like El-Gonzo said, help them get an appreciation for the game.

You know its a shame, I have lived about 45 minutes from the HoF my entire life and still have never been inside it. I've been in Fawcett Stadium (where they play the HoF game) a few times but never in the hall.

I can't read the tweet here, but is this different then the league meeting with all the rookies about "the conduct policy", etc.?

It's a good idea either way.

That's an awesome appreciation idea and motivation for these guys. I wonder who started that/whose idea it was? Tomlin? Rooney? That is really interesting!
