People hate him cause he didn't conform and take the jab, He is smart dude and was right on that and seems like a great guy and very intelligent. If you got a few hours of free time watch his Rogan episodes!

That's why eventually some gimmedat on the team with a big mouth will challenge him and the season will be over.
All Defense!
Kindly take your political crap to the soapbox where it belongs.
Rodgers played like he did for the Jets. That's 'cause of the microchip.
All that really matters is how he plays. Everything else is noise. Regardless of his attitude he won't wreck the Steelers locker room. First, he is likely on a one-year deal so there is no concern about keeping him happy at the end of this year, or even in the second half of this season if things just go poorly for the team. Second, most of the leaders on this team are on the defensive side of the ball. Therefore, they don't need to kiss a qb's ass to make sure they see the ball multiple times in a game. Finally, all the criticism of the front office and Tomlin aside, the Steelers are not going to let any player effect their head coaching decisions. If this turns out to be Tomlin's it will either be because he decides he has had enough, or the Steelers nudge him out because of the playoff drought.
If Rodgers plays well somebody will try to tear him down. If he plays poorly everybody will say told you so.
All Defense!
Not everyone.
Some of us are willing to tell you what we think beforehand, then assess how a player performs in real time and give an honest opinion of how well or bad he is playing. There may be some struggles early for the team as everyone adjusts to each other and there are a handful of new players injected into the system on both sides of the ball. This is football. There are always going to be ups and downs based on a bunch of different variables.
I didn't want the team to sign him, but they did. Now that he's here, I will be cheering for him to play out of his mind and help them be a much better team....maybe even a dangerous team that can make a good run. That's what every single fan should be rooting for.
Now we just need to see it all unfold to find out how it plays out.

Bingo
Nobody was the perfect solution at QB for this season.
Yes but political or not, this is a huge point about Rodgers and football, which to me means it should be open to discussion here on the Steelers football board since he is our starting QB. If he was still on the Jets I would agree it doesn't belong here. This place is already struggling to draw people, let's leave discussions about the Steelers open. If you disagree you can always just ignore the post or dispute it. It's called arguing and unfortunately people with different opinions have been silenced, especially during COVID which was wrong. No human should EVER be forced to take anything they disagree with especially at the cost of their livelihood.
In hindsight it looks like he made the right decision based on shit coming out now about what the "vax" did to people, but his decision to go against the norm only proves he has strong character which hopefully translates to the field. Who knows, maybe Rodgers is just a total douche, but as long as he's our QB this year I'll root for him on the field.
Again, this is MY opinion. I'm not looking for people to take sides and I'm not going to hate anyone who disagrees with my opinion.
