Browns trade pick and not take Travis Hunter. I’m good with that. Didn’t want to face him twice a year

They are the Browns and they can fuck up a team wide wet dream but as of now I'd say that a pretty savvy move by the Browns.

And then go DT - Playing for a QB for next year

New Orleans smartly pass on Shedur. They may have a chance to draft him in round 2

As our pick is approaching - I am no longer neutral. I have preferences in DT.

I would prefer Harmon (Oregon) first then Nolan (Miss) and if Grant (Michigan) is the only left - I am ok with even QB or RB - as it seems Grants versatility is limited

Drafting guards in the top 12 now? Two, I think.

Not saying it’s a bad idea but it’s kinda unusual.

Dallas could have traded down and still drafted their guy.

Holeee shite. Miami took the DT that I didn’t want. Makes me think that Tomlin downplaying the role of a pure NT may have been a smokescreen. Maybe he really wanted Grant after all.

DBs are sliding. Many available at good value

Damn!! All the good DTs are going early. Just when the Steelers need one
if Harmon goes to Cincy then I guess we draft Shedur. Everyone has seen Philly draft DTs year after year and win a SB so now this is in vogue

Harmon should be available for the Steelers now. As Sea, TB and Den are not expected to take a DT

    Hah!

    Everyone was wrong.

Team did what it does. Took an incredible fit for their style of defense.

    Simple. Effective. Stable.

    Re: Draft 2025

I was sooooo afraid that Cincy would take Harmon but thank god he lasted for us and thank god that they didn’t take Shedure. When I started this thread I thought Sanders was a top 10 talent and so I thought a talent like that dropping would be too hard to pass up. But more and more - the talent evaluators were dropping Sanders and he wasn’t such a value anymore.

Wow. giants do not select Sanders. I get the sense that Shedure Sanders is off the board completely for many teams. No matter how far he drops these teams will not draft him.

I guess they don’t want the headache of Deion Sanders mouthing off to the media every time something is said against Shedure

If we don't move up I am thinking RB or QB in the 3rd round.

Maybe teams wasn't that impressed with Sanders, I watch a game or two with him last year and wasn't impressed. goes for Dart too. Next year may suck too and please Steelers pass on Drew Allar he is garbage.

Perhaps Arch Manning? He is eligible for the 2026 draft, but it depends on how he does this coming season.

Unfortunately, the Steelers will be 8-9 or 9-8 so the chance of acquiring Manning is nearly impossible.

Manning threw I think 5 td's in one game last year yet they still started Awers ahead of him the following week so makes yea wonder. All I know is Drew Allar ain't the answer for any team!!!

    Re: Draft 2025

The number of starting QBs next year that were drafted in Round 3 or later is 4.

purdy, Prescott and Russell Wilson and Rudolph if Rodgers don’t sign.

in general - we may have high hopes for the QB we draft in round 3 or later but the chance they will be a consistent starting QB is quite low. But it’s worth the gamble especially when our cupboard is so bare

The media over hyped Sanders. NFL teams never liked his ability as a prospect. He’s just not all that good. Harsh, but true.

Now the media is creating a narrative to explain his “fall “.

He never fell. The league has always viewed him as a third round borderline backup QB.

the very best analogy of Shedure I have seen comes from our very own Gary (fansince) Sanders is a cross between Tom Brady and Michael Vick

He runs like Brady and throws like Vick
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar

Good news! PFT says the Browns are the betting favorites to take Sanders with the 33rd overall pick

It would be such a Browns things to do, too.
