Rodgers refused to do it GB. He refused to mentor any of his teammates in NY. Part of the reason the offense struggled with multiple games with no TDs. He is a not a good leader or teammate. That's the bottom line. And I am not counting on a guy who built a HOF resume one way suddenly turning over a new leaf.

Rodgers may end up being the best on the field performer of ANY of the possible 2025 Steelers QB options. I can see that happening. But he will only be a leader as far as his on the field play keeps things calm. He's crap in the room as the hockey boys say.
At this point who cares. Just sign him for two years and draft a guy next year. If this years draft had better talent at QB I would say go for it this year but the Steelers would need to trade into the top 5 spots and that isn't happening.

So whether it is Mason Rudolph or Rodgers it really doesn't matter, they aren't winning the Superbowl. I'm not expecting Rodgers to mentor anyone. Just go out and read defenses and make the throws.

That’s where I’m at. They’ve kicked this can as far down the road as they can. Time to take your medicine.

Yep they needed to figure out how to pay the piper the minute Ben's elbow popped but have drug it out over 5 years now.

Why? Who knows, so Tomlin can keep his .501 record in tact? Maybe, but again who cares at this point, like you said they need to take their medicine and move forward. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will front load a contract to Rodgers, have him lead us to a 5-12 "Jets" like season and we won't even have to trade up that far to draft a guy next year after we release him.

    One can only hope.

Funny how some think this is some unique Tomlin only issue. How many QBs did Noll bring in after Bradshaw that were all flops. Cowher brought in some real gems like Kent Graham and insurance salesman Tommy Maddox, Mike Tomczak and "I have a gut feeling" Jim Miller, who was benched after one game.

Am I happy about it now? Nope. Has it happened before. Yep.

I think Rodgers is trolling us and using our and the Giants interest to get the Vikings to sign him. He wants revenge on the Packers and wants to beat them twice a year.

    Re: Poll on Aaron Rodgers

Brett Favre was criticized for saying he would not mentor Rogers. It's not their job. If there is nobody else to sign I guess he would be it, but in that case I would try to get some high draft picks for some of the others and call it a rebuild.

    Re: Poll on Aaron Rodgers

I don't see the Vikings angle. Maybe I'll be wrong but they move on from 2 veteran QB's in back to back seasons, and Darnold could have been kept. They spent a top 10 pick on a QB last year.

I understand if Rodgers wants the Vikings, they have a contending roster.
    1. Kenneth Grant, NT/DT, Michigan 3. DJ Gidden, RB, Kansas State 4. JJ Pegues, DT, Ole Miss 5. Dont'e Thornton WR, Tennesee 6. Craig Woodson, S, California 7. Johnny Walker, OLB, Missouri
