Fan falls from stands at PNC

For any of you who didn't hear about it, a fan fell from the stands above the Clemente wall and onto the field during the 7th inning of last night's game against the Cubs. It was a very horrific and scary scene. Please keep this guy in your prayers. Have not heard any word on his condition this morning other than he was in critical condition.

I watched the actual video on X of the guy falling. He looked drunk out of his mind (which may actually be a benefit here) but until we know that facts we can only assume. Hopefully he recovers, drunk or not that had to be scary as hell to watch or experience.

I hope they don't go an build huge railings or start putting up netting in the outfield. I've seen so many drunks that should have been cut off walking around games in Philly it is ridiculous. But, hey when you can charge $20/beer why stop selling it.

A follow up on the young kid who fell. Alcohol may have played a part but be careful on judging without knowing. Seems like a solid, nice kid.

To me it looked like he jumped up to celebrate the Cutch hit and missed grabbing the railing with his hands and his momentum took him over. Alcohol? Possibly. But still a tragedy.

God sure does seem to love fools and drunks. Likely a good thing for us all.
