all have to be at a reasonable price or I simply move on entirely ....
Fields would be my starter , Allen is a solid backup and I draft a guy that has similar traits to Fields and see what happens ....
Jackson is a good corner but he is like Glass always dinged up so he must be cost effective to compensate for missed time ....
as for the rest of the roster its a whole lot of meh IMO , sure I realize you have to have depth but for the most part I see a whole lot of warm bodies and those can be found anywhere

When it comes to NFL CBs, reps makes a lot of difference. I wouldn't throw away a veteran just casually. Obviously there is a cost consideration. As of today, I'm not letting any just walk without an offer. That said, I may be looking to take a CB in the 1st. Or a Safety.
I would like to see CB, WR, NT in the first 3 rounds , I would be moving Benton to end in place of Larry O whom I would be cutting

Skylar Thompson played at KState. I remember he had an issue with injuries. That's about it.
Played for the Dolphins. He sucked. Might be better than Pickett tho.
Evan Hull has some talent. Likely just a PS player obviously, but he could compete for a 3rd RB spot.
Steven Jones was someone I thought could have been drafted last year on late day 3.
He re-signed a few weeks ago but glad to see Welschof return.
Let’s be honest…none of those guys have NFL level talent.
He saw action with the Dolphins. Basically a #3 QB for the roster.

Steelers sign defensive tackle, Daniel Ekuale. Played for the Pats since 2021, started 16 games last year.

doesnt sound like a guy you spend a ton of $$ on ... perhaps shoring up the no "needs" prior to the draft ...

I am reading that he is good run stopper but who knows. Has he played in a 3-man front? I assuming it is just a depth signing.
It's a depth move for sure, but he seems like a solid addition to the room as a run defender.

He's an upgrade over Lowdermilk, so as a depth signing it makes the front 7 better IMO.
