The winner this week is basically the division winner.
It’s the simplest path. But if Steelers win last 2 they have better conference record and win division. That’s assuming Ravens beat Texans which could go either way.
This has all the hallmarks to be one helluva game. Steelers win and they win the AFCN title. Lose and the last two games become very important. The wind may be a factor, and injuries may be as well. Sounds like Watt may play. No Pickens really hampers the Steelers offense (although windy conditions may do so as well). This will be Lamar’s first home game against Pittsburgh in his career, with a crowd. His only other home game was a COVID-19 empty stadium.
I’m not a big fan of late afternoon games vs. a 1:00 pm start, but this week I’ll take it.

Updates say Watt will play and Pickens won’t. Smith better dial up something special. That offense without Pickens is dreadful.
Pickens and Fields have already been ruled out.
Pickens may not be back until the playoffs.
Pickens and Watt drive the offense and defense. No Pickens really hobbles the Steelers offense. It’s going to be interesting to see if Watt is 100% or not.
On the Ravens side, after a breakout game, it looks like Rashod Bateman ended practice early yesterday and was in a walking boot today. His overall stats in 2024 may not be stellar, but his speed and size, as well as his routes, open the field for other receivers and force the defense to play back farther off the LOS. If he’s out, that will hurt the Ravens offense.
Cool. We will get to see more of the fork sticking out of Wilson's back as he struggles to cobble together 4 first downs.
Without Pickens to make it work, this offense is a tick above useless.
Maybe Arthur Smith can finally realize his dream and unveil the 5 TE package.

I kinda figured they would hold Pickens out because Tomlin is a Defensive guy and he's gonna hedge his bets on the Defense to win it. I just don't see it if the offense can't sustain drives and give the defense breaks otherwise they will get gassed and that's when the injuries pile up.

Last time a victory against the Ravens too two turnovers and two missed field goals.
They'll have to force at least 3 turnovers to have a shot.
The Steelers are more than capable of beating the Ravens. I just don't think they will this weekend.
Rather beat them in the playoffs anyways!

They’ll lose this week and beat KC Christmas Day. Ravens have an easy road to the North title if they win this week. Texans and Browns.
Rather just wrap that North up and who cares about the Chiefs or Bungles…

Does anyone remember we were driving to tie the Eagles in the 2nd half when the fumble happened and the wheels came off? We can do what we need to do offensively without GP. Yes, we are better with him but we are not just a bunch of meat filled shirts without him.
This game will come down to who makes the play late in the 4 to win or lose it. Like just about every other Steelers/Ravens game.
