Injuries and lack of rest are challenges every team faces on the road to the postseason. Injuries can occur at any time, regardless of the competition— remember Byron Leftwich injuring himself while running into the end zone without being touched.
IMO, it’s better to face a tough schedule leading into the postseason than an easy one.
What I don't understand is the fact that the NFL schedule could be a lot more balanced. But it seems they care more about money than fair competition. I'm not saying they are biased against (or for) any one team but rather that their current scheduling method will always benefit one group of random teams over another group of random teams each season.
Like it or not Steelers bring in high ratings. They usually have 2 Thursday night games (this season Wed/Christmas Day) as well as several SNF and MNF games. Also add in 425 national games and Saturday games as well.
I live in a non Steelers area (Ravens/Commanders are "local") but I very rarely have to use alternative methods to get a Steelers game. Usually it is the east coast primary game or a national game.

If you are in the Baltimore area, that’s why you get Steelers games because they are in the Ravens division. We get a good amount in the Philadelphia area but if the Giants and Seahawks are playing, that game could override the Steelers game because we are in NFC East area.
I am in Southeastern Virginia. Tomlins area.
Most of the local news anchors are from Pittsburgh and are huge Steelers fans. I don't know if they have a say but we get Steelers games primarily on the CBS affiliate. Even if Ravens games are on at the same time, we still get Steelers games most of the time.
We also have a big Steelers group that meets every week for games at a different bar throughout our region. Maybe they kept bothering the local station to show Steelers games

We have two local teams in LA, Rams and Chargers. So they get first billing on TV of course. Even the niners and KC seem to get preferential treatment. Steelers get almost nothing here unless its nationally broadcast. Im surprised we got the browns game last week. This week? While most of the country gets the steagles game we here in LA get the chargers again…
Looks like Pickens is out again this week. This is definitely a loss on the road against a very good Eagles team.
I see us going 2-2.
