As always a hard fought game where you could throw previous stats out the window. And it’s always a heart attack until the last second.
Wow. The final would have been 22-18, except for two missed FG’s by Jonathan Tucker. Maybe eventually we’ll find out why. He can still kick the ball out of the end zone so it doesn’t appear to be leg strength. But he is consistently pulling FG kicks to the left.
The defense gave up zero TD’s. Zero. I was happy to see a vast improvement in pass defense (they had nowhere to go but up). Once again, a typical Ravens-Steelers AFCN battle. The rematch at The Bank should be typical as well.
But OMFG so many flags. On both sides. Yet some blatant penalties were uncalled while some ticky-tack ones were. I’ll never figure out what the hell the officials are looking at.

If my Aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. You could if a game to death. In all fairness if my team had best kicker ever and lost by 2 with a couple missed FG’s I’d be doing the same.

Harbaugh is a good coach. The Steelers have the Ravens number same as the Patriots had the Steelers numbers although I do not think the refs or cheating had anything to do with Pittsburgh's dominance of Baltimore.

tbf, I wouldn’t truly label that a “what if”. The Ravens were in decent FG range with, to most folks, one of the best, if not THE best kicker in NFL history. If the kicks were blocked, or bad snaps, that’d be a “what if”. But for Tucker to miss (what should be to him) two easy FG’s is almost unthinkable. I’m still processing it.

Tucker has been struggling all year. He's washed. It happens with every player. But the Ravens lost because the Steelers beat them and were out-coached, not because the Ravens beat themselves.
He’s definitely not his usual “automatic” self. He’s missed six this season.
