Russ looks like a top 10 QB slinging the ball, Nothing against Fields and he look decent in his games and got some wins. With Russ my eyes tell me we have a QB to compete against the big boy teams. Thoughts ?

One thing about Russ at QB is that when they get in 2nd and long or 3rd and long, the drive isn't necessarily over. That's where they struggled the past 2 years and the first 6 games. Yeah, they couldn't get a TD in the first half last night but drives were sustained.
Russ has looked good. But I’m going to temper my excitement.
The Jets and Giants are awful teams. Top pick in the draft bad.
Let’s see what happens after the bye week.
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
Wilson clearly has the veteran presence and touch on this throws that Fields will either develop or never have. Obviously Fields has the legs over Wilson but at this point you take experience/touch over legs. Wilson was always a good scrambler but at 35 he's clearly not what he used to be. He has to protect that ball better, that late fumble against a good team could have been really bad.
As others have said, RW just beat two really bad teams. The second half is going to be brutal with all 6 division games looming, two VERY good teams in the Eagles/Commanderskins on the road with a Chiefs visit to Pittsburgh to cap it all off. Yes the Brows and Bengals are down but division games regardless of record are ALWAYS battles.
If they can finish with 10 wins or more I'll be impressed.
I wouldn't agree. He's missing too many throws short. I can tell you how many times I see a ball bouncing to a receiver. That's not to take away from the things he's doing well. And, perhaps, that'll clean up as he continues to knock out the rust. But right now, I wouldn't put him in a top-ten. Then again, I'm not really following any other teams or football in general right now so perhaps he is... but if so, that would be a condemnation on NFL QBs in general. I honestly do not think at this point he is much better than Fields (he is better, but its not an insurmountable difference).
Although, I do have to admit, there is an intangible he has that so far, Fields hasn't shown. I don't know if it is leadership or a confidence level or what, but there is something.
Russell Wilson is a more technically proficient QB that Ben or Bradshaw. Bradshaw threw lots of picks, but had a world class defense for years that sometimes reversed the bad throws. Ben was 50% gunslinger which is fun to watch, but you need the free wheeling WRs to get the ball.
If you prefer timing throws and disciplined routes, then Wilson is your favorite. He needs one more SB win to cement his place in history.
All Defense!
Due to injuries the Jets now feature one NFL caliber DB and no pass rush. And a team that’s clearly in free fall.
The Giants were benching dudes during the game last night and the coach and QB were arguing on the sidelines. Another team entering free fall.
I have a great deal of optimism for Wilson moving forward. His play has been shockingly good.
But now he’s going to play winning teams with fully functioning offense and defense. That’s the next test.
This is how you start a game and jump out to an early lead by the best team of its era.

All Defense!
Everyone knew going in to these games that the jets and giants had good pass rushing defenses. And we had a makeshift o line on top of it. Whatever happened on the Giants sideline Wilson still faced quite a bit of pressure and he still pushed the ball down the field successfully.
We may be approaching the gauntlet part of the schedule but well have help too (Frazier Holcomb and Sutton).
Less about the job Russ has done in these last 2 games, more about moving forward.
The Steelers Special Teams has scored 91 of our 187 points scored so far. That's basically half. 20 of our 26 points on Monday Night were scored by Special Teams. The offense is still not getting into the end zone enough.
The special teams didnt score 20 points on sunday but they helped put the offense in positions to score. They and the defense have been doing that the whole season. The difference now is that our passing is over 250 yards. And thats opened up the running game. Under fields we went over 200 yards passing just two out of six times and running game was almost non existent except for Fields runs.
The passing TD’s will come more often, we had two that were called back sunday.
If Wilson can help the team to a "mini-run" after the bye similar to the one the Broncos experienced with him last season where they beat both the Chiefs and Bills in back-to-back weeks (the Broncos' first win against the Chiefs since 2015 and the Bills game being on the road), I'd be ecstatic.
Wilson actually played pretty well during that stretch also, but the Broncos started the season in a 1-5 hole there was really no climbing out of.
I was not a fan of the decision to put Wilson as starter because I did not think that he would be able to turn back the clock a bit to his seattle days but so far he has been great and it was the right decision
Bigger challenge will come in the second half but right now the teams is in the right direction!
I think six wins is a little better than what I thought they’d be at the bye. The true test starts with the Commanders and then it’s a gauntlet the rest of the way. I think Russ may have his game legs under him by then. Would still like to see the addition of a WR that can move the WR Room needle.
They need to figure out Broderick Jones and they need to tighten up the defensive run game.
I'll stick with my early prediction and say this is a 9 maybe 10 win team on the fringe of the playoffs.
I'm glad to see people warming up to RW. He's playing better than Ben did in the final two years of his career. Ben has been against this move since September- I'm curious if he's changed his mind. If RW stays healthy and the defense plays consistently well, there's no reason they can't make a solid run.
