I'll take it but bottom of the barrel of what was left. Not impressed with Kahn's WR dealings for the last 7 months.
Glad it's just a 5th rounder. Grateful they didn't overpay.

He still has potential if healthy, which I believe he is right now.

He had only 21 target with the Jets.He had 250 yards in 3 games last season before his season ending injury and over 800 yards in 13 games in 2022....He can be good,we need to wait and see!

Don’t mind it. Compared To some of the names That have been rumored, it’s not great but how many of those rumors were actually real things??
Improved the room.
Most importantly, it’s nice to see that the Steelers recognize that there are pieces missing instead of saying they are set with what they haves.
Ugh. Like kissing my sister.
He will be injured within 3 weeks. Until then, he gives Wilson another contested catch guy to throw moonballs to along the boundary.
I'm not sure who some of you were expecting at this point. They swung and missed on the big dogs. The one that got away that probably could have been had was D Hop. Otherwise, Williams is an upgrade on the room.

What's his contract status? Signed through next year? Dollars?
He has 9.3 yards per target and over 15 yards per catch in his career...What were the better option possible in this position?

He had also only 95 yards in his rookie season and 250 yards only last season because he had played only 3 game....Don't need to be a super star but just a good number 2 behind Pickens
Williams played an average of 15 games per season, for 5 straight years - 2018 through 2022.
I like it.![]()

A guy with recent injury history (past 2 years) And the Ravens get DJ. Don't like how this is turning out.
I really wished the traded for a move the chains guy but they made the move to upgrade the room and they did that. Remains to be seen how this works out but it’s positive vibes to start.
this is the balance of this season rental , he was on a 1 year prove it deal with Jets for 10 million ...
he was really talented in college but it never fully translated to the NFL ...will have to wait n see but I told one of my sons he may struggle to beat out van jefferson at this point for snaps
and I believe we over payed ...
a 5th round pick for a guy with almost no production and under contract for just 9 more games ... that to me seems desperate
maybe he kicks ass but I am not gonna hold my breath
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
Mike Williams entering Week 10 in 2024: - 12 catches on 21 targets - 108th-ranked WR by PFF (out of 130) - 4th WR on a bad Jets offense - 2.0 YAC per reception - 2 drops - 30 years old - 43.1 passer rating when targeted

Who wants to get Liams Sweed on the hotline?
All Defense!
I have no problem with the williams signing look at what we have now. Give the guy a chance, who knows what a change of scenery will do?
And I don't care what he did with a dysfunctional team like the Jets
Of the WRs that were actually available....Williams was the best fit for how Wilson likes to play on offense.
Would've been cool if the Jets took a 7th or some future pick....put the Steelers needed to get the deal done and the Jets knew it.
$300K and a 2025 5th round pick to see if Williams can catch a couple dozen moonshots from Wilson. Sure. Why not. At least I don't have to watch Scotty Miller try and do it.
we must never forget tell everyone you know New England cheated and might be back at it Edit 1-21-15 there back Edit #2__12-8-19 here we go again Edit #3__ 5-25-23 it never ends
Mike Tomlin is getting a big veteran WR to put opposite Pickens. Whatever Michael Williams has left in the tank, you can bet MT will get the most of it. Just think how this spreads a defense now and how this will help our run game and those pesky MOF routes. If you don't like this move now, just give it time. You will.
