    Oh my, so sorry to hear that. I know he has had his issue as of recent. And, in the latter years he was an easy target for the way he played. Nevertheless, he is still an icon (and as a would with anybody) I wish him the best.

    Still remember watching the game he played after his father died. While build-up by the media was so expectedly over the top, his performance was truly stunning.

    He took too many hits throughout school and in the NFL and got nerve damage. I would not let my sons play football other than throwing the ball around the backyard. I played and got cheap shot all the time by my own teammates. Favre was a great QB and hopefully can find treatment somewhere to preserve his quality of life for as long as possible.
