McVay is saying he expects him to be there rest of the season but what else is he supposed to say?
If Kupp is healthy, yes. However, given the health concerns associated with Kupp, I'd be more in line with a 3rd rounder if we are giving up a wide receiver to boot. Naturally, the willingness of the Rams to absorb cap space is a sliding scale on any trade. I don't expect a trade for Kupp however.

I’d trade all of them and up the second to a first for Cooper Kupp and the chance to get all that garbage off the roster. Lol

I understand your reasons, but at this point in his career I couldn't be in line with a first rounder for Kupp. We can use that first rounder on a WR in the draft. A draft pick is hardly a sure thing, but either is Kupp at this point given his injury history and age.

Keeping off the phone in case Khan calls for a consult. Apparently, I missed his call in the past. My dumb phone didn't even record his number.

Re: maybe the steelers should focus on other WR options

Kupp wont likely be traded .... at the time they supposedly started to shop him the Rams were 2-4 , Kupp & Puka returned they beat the 5-1 Vikings and moved into second place in their division with a game vs the Seahawks coming 2 days prior to the trade deadline .... Rams now being healthy on Offense I think they beat the seahawks handily and that puts them in a 1st place Tie with the tie breaker advantage ...

Rams tied for 1st place are not going to be sellers at the trade deadline they will be buyers if anything thus Kupp stays put
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar

I wouldn’t really trade a first…but I’d definitely give up a second for him…even if it’s only for ten games. But like I said, they probably won’t be trading him and probably never really intended to.

I think he has under fifteen catches and not a lot of targets. His production is pretty low and he’s probably pissed about it.

He’d be a nice fit for the Steelers and the front office is pretty familiar with him.

Despite McVays comments, Schefter is still saying Kupp is a trade candidate…

none of the WR's not named Kupp that we could trade for have produced as much as CA3 this year to date ... so there is that ... (DJ is unattainable by us per league rule , not that I would want him back anyways)

of these guys left , I guess I would go with Thielen if he could pass a physical for a late round selection (he is to old to offer more)

I agree. Except for Kupp. I could stomach Christian Kirk because he’s better than what they have but he’s waaaay overpaid in my opinion and was one of those first WRs to get money way more than he was worth.

Jordan Addison, if rumor is true, is VERY intriguing to me.

But hinestly, at this point, it’s like people are just throwing names at the wall.

It's becoming one of those things where fans click on certain type articles so they keep pushing them out. Example, the Steelers fans want another WR so every time a player gets even hinted at about wanted to be traded, a headline pops up, 'possible trade to Steelers'. And the clicks are automatic.

Christian Kirk suffered a broken collarbone vs. Packers today. Another name you can scratch off the list.

At this point maybe they’re looking to trade Trevor Lawrence.

The Baltimore Ravens are acquiring wide receiver Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Every other team keeps getting trades done for WRs.

Ravens trade their 5th for Panthers 6th to acquire DJ.

Panthers current 6th round pick: 176 overall.
Ravens current 5th round pick: 173 overall.

The Panthers are a horrible ran organization.

Not really sure why the Steelers can’t get a deal done for a decent WR. There has been plenty available.

The Panthers are just so much worse than the next worst team. It’s pathetic. Honestly the league should force Tepper out.

I'm starting to feel the same way. Kahn has a couple days to pull a rabbit out of a hat, or I feel that the ship will be sunk. I'm not drinking the Van Jefferson Kool-Aid.

We need a good veteran WR that knows how to find the seam and sit in the gap. We have enough young WRs that are still learning their routes.

Please tell me what a high dollar WR is going to do for us mid season? “Go long” “go short”? I kinda like what we have. Let’s go with the WR and TE group. I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going to happen.
