It's ESPN. They talk about their rules for who is in the mix to get players. All these smaller blogger types latch on to those reports and run with them. It's really just stupidity. Only Adams and his agent know who's in the mix.

D Adams is not coming to the land of no QB, we are almost as bad as the Raiders QB room. He is going to either the Jets or NO.
Steelers have $12+M in space available. Jets have $16+M in space available. Adams cap hit for 2024 is currently at $25+M. The Raiders would have to eat some of that cap space in both cases. There would also have to be a renegotiation for 2025 and beyond as that hit is upwards of $44M and 2026 is $45M+ at that point Adams would be 34 years old. No guarantees in 2025 or 2026 but there is a significant dead money cap hit $15.7M/$7.8M). So something would have to be worked out to make that work in a more friendly manner...but that's what Khan knows how to do...and does it well.
For the record, Saints have $2.7M in cap space for 2024.

Kahn can easily work out the cap. For the WIN NOW crowd, this is about as close as you're gonna get to pushing all the chips to the center of the table.

On a serious note, wonder if they want to trade Wilson for Adams? They need a QB and Tomlin doesn’t seem to want to use him, plus he wouldn’t cost anything so they could eat some Adams cap easier.
