Unfortunately for a team like Army, just due to how they play, once they were down by 2 scores it was pretty much over.

There are a lot of rivalry games this weekend where one of the teams is having a down year (e.g., USC, Michigan). I see the potential for some of the top 12 to be upset.
That G/ GT game was just insane. Been kind of rooting against the SEC multiple loss teams because I think they are getting too much respect in the rankings. However, Georgia definitely earned my respect last night. I'm more impressed with how a team reacts to difficult situations than how badly they blow out an opponent.
I guess OSU and Michigan don't like each other and UNC and NC State don't either

Good games this weekend. I've been saying that the conference championships are archaic now. I expect them to start to disappear once the present TV contracts expire and the playoff expands. However, can't complain about most of the games. The SEC championship was a classic. And the ACC and Big Ten are pretty tight ball games as well. The ACC game just turned into a classic as well.
All chalk to this point as the home teams and higher seeds all won.
Penn St and Ohio St dominated their games in a big way. They crushed SMU and Tennessee respectively.
Hopefully the games get better in the second round!!

Didn't get to watch much this week. Hopefully I will get watch next week. No offense to any fans of SEC teams here but just so sick of the crying and moaning. Just because SMU got crushed doesn't mean that Alabama should have been in. Does Tennessee's loss mean the Big Ten deserves another team. No. Get over your self.
Alabama wasn’t good. They lost three times…lol. They don’t deserve to be anywhere close to the Playoffs. Not even in the conVErsation. Army is more deserving than Alabama. Miami, BYU deserve it more…Ole Miss…equally not as deserving as Alabama.
