Warren can't be the bell cow RB for Tomlin if he is prone to fumbles. He had 4 fumbles last season, losing 2. That's on 149 carries.
Najee, in a contract year, is pacing himself to have his worst season as a pro. He's averaging a paltry (even for him) 3.3 YPC and 54 yards a game. I'm not seeing much more that the minimum for him on the open market.
On passing downs AS should utilize him more. He's a good receiver out of the backfield. Use plays that cater to the player's strengths instead of trying to force everything.
Najee Harris runs to daylight, sparking Steelers' offense in win against Raiders

Yeah, Najee draws the fan hate because he is the 24th overall pick and many think that you should be a pro bowl player with that selection.
I know that Warren is coming back off injury, but if Harris had his stat line of 6 Carries for 7YDS and 1.2 YPC, everybody would be all over him and saying that Warren should start, etc.
Najee had some better blocking and had some lousy blocking as well, but he appeared to get a lot of yards after contact as usual and had a big game on the ground. Good to see from a Steelers RE.
Props to Najee for having a good day. He usually has 2-3 of them a year. In those games he looks like a different player.

Najee does tend to get better as the year goes on. His thermostat must take a while to open before he heats up
Looks like they stopped running him sideways and started running him straight ahead.
I have no idea why this team insists on trying to be an outside rushing team for like 5-6 games EVERY season. Then they realize if they just let the big ol' OL they like to draft maul the dude in front of them and run Harris behind that, it works.
Maybe I am being overly simple and missing things....but I swear that is what it looks like to me every dang year.
