Those stats can be deceiving sometimes though. If he’s one of the better DBs on his team, the opposing team may not go in his direction.

I think so, he doesnt have the speed to play CB but has ball skills and will tackle. Kind of a Mike Logan type S that can cover, but you dont want him covering the other teams top 2 receivers.

He has a good shot to make it as a Safety and special teamer.

Man it sucks when a kid never gets to see the field to see what he can do. It also hurts that the team invested a draft pick in him and didn't get any return on investment.

I hope he recovers and has a good and healthy life if he is done with football.
