Heroes: Defense played their best game of the season against a highly potent offense. Wizard of Boz.
Goats: No Goats. It was a Ravens/Steelers game. Just get the win.

Heroes - The defense. What a game against a very very good team. Of course BOZ for scoring all our points and the run game.
Goats - Not scoring a TD and almost Fields for his slide.
Heroes: defense, Boz, Pickens.
Goat: Broderick Jones. This guy is going to eventually cost them a crucial game with all the damn holding.
No goats/maybe Jones
Heroes: Warren, Naj and that Defense
I am still very concerned about the offensive line, I'm all for benching Jones, he kills drives

Oh yeah, forgot about the Boz!

Some context for Brod Jones. Today’s officiating crew has called significantly more holding penalties than any other crew in the league.
Doesn’t mean he didn’t mess up or have a bad game just adds more to the discussion.
Heroes: me, for surviving another Steelers-Ravens nailbiter.
It was a team win for sure. The heroes are Boswell who was perfect and all the defensive players who caused turnovers.
There were lots of mental mistakes from going for it on 4th down using the same play that failed prior instead of spreading the defense out.
#80 not going for the ball in the EZ which contributed to a pick.
Fields not getting the first down from sliding too soon in an open field.
Broderick Jones who is a penalty machine.
I thought the refs called a 100% fair game for a change.
Steelers are 3 players away from being a dominant #1 seed in the AFC. The Ravens need one or two more key players.
Where was Mike Williams?
Pickens is an alien.
All Defense!
I’m guessing it was the linebackers but maybe the big boys in front of them too? Because someone kicked the Ravens butt at the line of scrimmage.
In a low scoring affair like this one, that might be as complicated as the answer gets.
That and the turnovers.
Heroes: Boz, Herbig, Watt, Heyward, JPJ, and Elliot
Goats: Jones, Jackson on pass D
Corliss Waitman with a quiet 52.5 yards per punt today

How Lamar MVP level play drops off vs the Steelers compared to any other team is wild. Matchups matter.
Diontae Johnson with a donut.
Heroes are the usual - Def, Boz, GP and Harris.
Not sure if there are any goats this game, but if I have to, QBs, both made mistakes to keep the Ravens in the game, but both made plays when needed also. The other is the OL, but I am hoping that I am seeing them play a little better each week.
Heroes - Defense. Running game for doing enough. Pickens for pretty much being the passing game, even though he wasn't hauling in moon balls. The special teams were solid. Russ for staying in control and doing just enough to win. Sure, the pick was goat territory, and we need to score tds, but he stayed in the buggy tonight against the Ravens like a veteran should. Tomlin for making Harbaugh his *itch again.
No goats. We beat the Ravens.
I’m thinking that it’s not that easy for a WR to be traded and contribute substantially to their new team right away. Look at Cooper, Williams, DJ, Adams…none of them are contributing like you think they would. There is quite possibly a large learning curve when arriving to a new team mid-season.
In a Steelers/Ravens game, if the Steelers win, no one gets a goat unless they do something completely and utterly boneheaded.
Gameball:
Boz. I wonder if there's every a chance for a kicker to get the MVP award.
Washington. Nice to see him show up in the second half and put his head down while running with the football. I think he got into a little tussle early on and it set a fire in him.
Defense. Allowed only two TDs to arguably the best scoring offense currently in the NFL. Before today, they were first in receiving TDs, fourth in rushing TDs, Second in Total TDs, second in receiving first downs, so on and so forth.

Sure, the offense was blah, and that's not going to cut it against the Ravens again, or the Chiefs, or anyone else we may meet that's playoff bound. But they did enough to win.
I think the reason Washington is getting more throws is that he is getting out in the pattern when teams are expecting him to block. But we do need to get Muth involved in the passing game. It's not like he has dropping balls. He is not the blocker Washington is, obviously. So, I guess Washington's blocking is considered more important than Muth pass catching. There should be a way to get them both going at the same time.
Boz has kicked for 89 points so far this season.
Muth needs to be involved 100% more!! I'm no offensive coordinator but I do see us using more 2 TE sets and doing much more from that set. It seems with my eyes we don't do that enough. To me a short passing game to your TE's and RB's out of the backfield is an extension of the running game. That should be our bread and butter and also play action out of that set more. Seems like we did play action more on 1st down.

It wouldn’t but if they don’t know what they are supposed to do, that’s the issue and it appears to be across the league with traded WRs.
Much wasn’t even in at some points. They had Skoronek running his routes and motions. Some of the personnel decisions are mind boggling to me.
Smith had this issue in Atlanta a bit. Not getting his “best” on the field.
Smith chose some odd stuff today.
Muth and Skrow whatever was mentioned. At some point, if you’re getting taken off the field because a wideout is seen as a better blocker than you….gotta ask yourself some hard questions.
And what’s the point of Heyward playing fullback or H back or whatever you want to call it if you never give him the ball? You’re essentially taking a blocker off the field for a possible misdirection no one but Arthur Smith believes in?
I’ll hold further negative thoughts for another time.
Good game and even better win.
