Canada sucked no question about it but I am starting to believe that Kenny was the larger part of the problem that Canada was unable to mask and instead it magnified his short comings

To this day, I still believe that Ben would get in the huddle and say “ just get open and I’ll find you”…..and then he’d run around and do it. I don’t really think he was a “ progression” kind of QB. His strong points, (to me), were his arm strength, his ability to extend a play, and his ability to freeze a secondary with his, pump fakes. I’m not sure KP’s hand are big enough to pull that last one off. ( sorry couldn’t resist).
In the middle of all the discussions of KP, (for and against), blaming Canada for his poor development, which I totally agree with, and yes he had a poor OL, but how many games did he miss because of injury. Twice, he was put in to concussion protocol his rookie year and then the high ankle sprain, ( I think) his second season. That certainly doesn’t bode well for him in the rough and tumble AFC North. I think he will/could be a solid backup, but to ask him to potentially go 20 games……I just don’t see it.

Ben had the confidence to go off script. Kenny doesnt. Hes not Ben but he still has the athleticism and can make accurate throws. He seemed like he had some confidence in that first year but it looks gone now. I think Canada’s terrible system had a big hand in messing this guy up but you cant ignore the injury frequency also. The Steelers dumping him did him no favors either. But i guess part of that was his own doing. At this rate hell be lucky to hang around as backup - if he doesn’t turn it around.
