Just Wow!!! Very interesting!!! So, several things come to mind and the big one being that I think Pickett wanted out after the Wilson signing.

Not much value for KP, which is understandable, a late R3 and two R7 TE in 2025. I'm happy anyway. No doubt they will be drafting a QB.

Wow, stunned if this ends up being true.........my guess is Kenny must have done some things to sour the Steelers beyond just his play, like he really did pout and refuse to be the backup to Mason Rudolph in that one game where he could have come back.

I've had a sour taste on Kenny's maturity level for quite some time. This only confirms what I suspected.
My magic 8 ball says "Very possible". I bet Chicago has come down on their asking price. I think Steelers have something else in the works, and trading Pickett was the first domino.

Best news i've heard today! Kenny was put in a shit show situation and never given a chance. I wish him all the luck and success. On a side note maybe we can acquire that superstar we should have drafted instead of Kenny, Sam Howell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, he's the bestest.
This doesn’t make much sense from Pickett’s perspective. He wanted out to be a long term back rather than possibly a one year backup? He’s never going to see the field in Philly unless Hurts gets injured.
I guess maybe once he pouted the Steelers decided to send him somewhere where he had no chance to start, with Kenny having no say in the matter.
There are other teams in the league where he’d have gotten a chance to compete.
Nobody can ever accuse Khan of being Colbert, that's for sure. I thought drafting KP was a bit of a reach, but man, if this isn't an indictment on mismanagement in Colbert's final years, and Tomlin, too, I don't know what is. Tomlin will be given no excuses for not going further in the playoffs. It's also a wee bit unnerving to be at this point and realize you have only one QB and two receivers to throw to, lol. I trust there is a vision in place and that Khan isn't throwing the baby out with the bathwater...
