Question wasn't for me but I will offer .... I don't think Pickett has shown he can be as good as either of those players as of this point. The chances are he probably won't, just like the chances are Fields will not turn his career around. It's just rare for players to have a better second or third act. I will say one thing for Pickett: he did show a bit of a clutch gene in his limited play, which neither Romo or Cousins have shown. But, at this point, I'd have to take Cousin or Romo over Pickett all day.

Pickett is not a Steeler. He’s a quitter. I hope he subs for Hurts one game and throws 5 picks. Then I hope Hurts comes back and throws 6 picks. That way the Kenny fans (aka “fan”) can say he played better than Hurts.
You're not a quitter if your coach quits on you first.
If the employee ain’t cutting it you bring in someone who can do the job. That’s the job of the supervisor. Its business. No participation trophies in NFL. Tomlin has his flaws but quitting isn’t one of them.

It’s subjective. I agree most wanted him gone earlier but the fact he was let go mid season was a plus. Most thought it would be post season.

I recall Kenny asking to be traded and that was granted. I remember him saying that he has no hard feelings towards the Steelers and he did what he felt was the best move for him. I can't recall all this crying kicking and 'whining' certain members on here keep repeating over and over and over.

question is did he deserve it. To me he didn't. But the steelers have some aging stars and want to fastrack a shot to the superbowl and a coach who doesn't have the patience to watch a young Qb grow.
