At some point, they're gonna have to upgrade the offense though. All of the moves (sans Wilson) have benefited the defense. Right now (sans Wilson), the offense is worse than a week ago. I expect them to add some players to offense, but the Steelers tend to think that defense is going to win them a championship, the way they load up their payroll on defense.
The deal is official.
Can Kenny get high knees like that? Russ can.
Wilson's press conference. (Click on "watch on Youtube")
Listening to Wilson's press conference, he needs to get into politics after he retires. Very slick on the podium.

I am not expecting these moves to bring us to the top this season. I do expect this is setting up the Omar Khan plan for this team though. You guys keep screaming we want to play chess, then complain because you can't see the next move coming. This is fun for me and I cannot wait to see what's next. Definitely not a boring offseason this year.
Maybe the players couldn’t discern who was really more at fault; Kenny or Canada. But they saw Kenny back there not making plays. Canada was the invisible man up in the booth. Maybe that’s why he was up there, to hide as he was causing chaos. I would say it’s mostly Canada that’s to blame but it cost Kenny his career in Pittsburgh.
I don’t buy into excuses too much. Real talent and determination will rise to the top regardless of obstacles. Just like I don’t buy that David Carr’s career was ruined by a poor offensive line. I saw lots of poor quarterback play out of Pickett that had nothing to do with the scheme or the play call. He’s not a Steeler anymore. So good luck beating out Jalen Hurts.
you all can say what ya want but I say this is a class act

Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. 4 teams in 5 years and traded twice in one off season
