Russell Wilson is now a Steeler

This isnt about Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman or Marshawn Lynch. But if it was I think we could see that Lynch is a success story growing up in poverty in Oakland area and does good charity work for those communities with the platform that he has now.

The fact of the matter is that in his first 2 stops, Wilson was some kind of QB that distanced himself from other players on those teams and had his own office under Hackett in Denver, which Sean Payton took away and made him go and spend time in the Broncos locker room along with the rest of the team. Really a weird dynamic from a guy that is supposed to be a team leader, so I really dont expect that much different.

Seattle chose to let Russ go and instead move forward with Geno Smith. Denver left the most dead money on their cap to cut Wilson loose. Sure the Steelers signed him at bargain basement contract and that is great, but I still dont expect much from Wilson as there may be 20 better QB's in the NFL than him next year. But at least the Steelers are trying to be better with Fields and Wilson.

Lynch faced multiple legal issues throughout his career as well. He pled guilty to a hit and run charge while with the Bills in 2008, causing his driver's license to be revoked. He was also arrested for DUI in 2012, but later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving two years later.

not saying Lynch hasn't done some good but many times over he puts others lives at risk for his selfish and foolish behavior, he is far from a model citizen and he sure isnt a role model ... that said if Wilson would choose not to be his buddy and have him over for dinner with the family and subject his children to him I sure as hell don't blame him

I'm waiting to see his reaction when he has a couple of bad games and Tomlin, seeing his no-losing-season record in jeopardy, panics again and benches him for Fields.

Never been a fan of "Junkgrabber" Lynch, but Hines got nailed for a DUI too. And he also called out his QB on national TV as being "soft" for not playing with a concussion. Just saying.

once ............ bad enough but apparently he has been really lucky since or he learned his lesson ...

in 2 mins invested I found 4 for Marshawn ( counting the hit and run as he must IMO of been drunk or high to have ran considering he has insurance and plenty of money to pay for the damages , he ran hoping to get away and not have the drug or drunk driving charges)

Lynch has been drunk driving more than Hines and most but still…far from thuggery. Waiting to hear someone come up with something more substantial. The media hates him…that’s the only thing I can find.

the accounts seem limitless that the guy is a menace to society likely 6 times dui could have been thrown at him(for the times he was/ should have been caught ... how many other times my guess hundreds but he slid away or vanished before cops got there ,,,, he has NO Regard for others ...I would avoid his stupid ass too

I completely get it! You are the most anti-Steelers poster I have seen on this forum in all my years here. You literally criticize every decision they make. You call it being a fan. I call it something else.You don't have to agree with everything. But you turn every thread into an anti-Tomlin campaign.

and maybe if Russ was friends with them he could help them make better decisions.

This is interesting. Since I've been here I've seen you and others criticize the Steelers many times for many things. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen a single poster on here who hasn't at one time or another criticized the Steelers about something. Does that mean everybody here is "anti-Steelers"? Did it ever occur to you that people who take the time to criticize the Steelers might be doing it because they love the Steelers and want to see them win and don't like it when they see the Steelers making mistakes that will make it harder and maybe impossible for them to do so?

Yeah I criticize Tomlin, because Tomlin has been screwing up my favorite team for at least the last ten years, and this offseason in particular has screwed them up not only for this season but for the next several seasons to come. I'm in my seventies now and I'd kinda like to see the Steelers win another Super Bowl or two before I die, and I thought we might have a window to do that the next couple of years, but now we're farther away than ever. So yeah, I'm gonna criticize Tomlin and TJ and Cam and whoever the hell else I want to if I think they're screwing things up, not because I hate the Steelers but because I love them. And if you don't like it then by all means put me on "Ignore" and put anyone else who disagrees with you on "Ignore" and have a good time talking only with the people who agree with you and patting yourselves on the back.
