Give him a couple more pieces and he’ll have them top 3.

My biggest wish across the coaching team...HC and down...is military/martial arts like discipline! When you make that many benjamins, you should be expected to walk a thin, high line 8-10 months out of the year. The other months best be relaxing/healing time. Not party mode for two months that requires recovery in and of itself. Spoilt bitches most of them. I would crush it 24/7/365 for just one years worth of their money and a Lombo!

I’m okay with this decision. As earlier stated, just a couple of more pieces. We have been “snake bitten” when it comes to ILB, starting with Shazier. Looking back at the period with Farrior and Foote. Those two never got hurt, (maybe I’m remembering wrong).

Right, I agree it’s mostly a talent and health issue on defense.

Tuitt leaving football and the Bush debacle set us back. Have a good draft, SS and Edge (to backup TJ)

…..and Burns in the first round was a sizable mistake, but there is a bit of a crap shoot in the draft.

It's funny you say that since multiple strength and conditioning coaches just left.

I just saw two 300 pound defensive linemen land on a 230 pound running back……how is that ever going to work well. I’m always worried that what happened to Shazier doesn’t happen more often.

And burns, and Edmunds too (he was serviceable but not worth a first). We’ve been missing on most of our first rounders, I wonder why. Is it that a lot of these guys look good in college but don’t want to put in the work to make a successful nfl career? Just get that first round rookie contract and put in the bare minimum work and party?

Edmunds was a perfect safety to play with Fitzpatrick. Kind of like Clark fit with Polamalu.

I think we could say that about every NFL team. We’ve also had some big successes….Cam, Pouncey, Watt…..Jones is a work in progress. I realize Tomlin is the one to call it, but it’s the scouts that brings the players in front of him.
