    NFL Officiating

So, while watching football this season, both my wife and I have noticed a huge increase in complaints about refs screwing up or missing calls. There are people that claim that it is because the game has gotten faster. Well, that makes sense.... if one is stupid! The issue now is point shaving. The refs do not need to change the outcome of a game to profit from what happens IN GAME anymore. Gambling is now legal online. These guys all have high dollar fantasy teams I guarantee it. Perhaps there is some NFL rule about them not being allowed to gamble. That's a laugh and a half. An online pseudonym is all it takes. OR simply "coach" your wife into making "smart bets". I am convinced that there is at very least a handful refs(probably all of them) that are less than honest with their flag and that Goodell does not care because he gets cut in somewhere along the line. Refereeing WILL be the end of the game. I am close to done right now as I do not see how a fair game can be had when the idiots on the field have a monetary agenda. It is unfixable if you ask me.

Has it gotten worse or is it just seen more often because of the amount of games that are televised and the exposure to the NFL?

And loud angry people on the internet with nothing better to do.

It’s about the same as it’s been for the 35 years or so I can remember.

Just being able to see everything in crystal clear HD one frame at a time from a hundred angles makes it seem worse.

Refs blow stuff in all sports all the time. NFL is only place that allows a media driven conversation towards perfection to influence league policies.
