On a dry track, those guys will find holes in the LB and Secondary.

If I am the Bills defense, I load up against the run and make the Steelers beat you with Rudolph and play a lot of man and bracket Pickens, or Quarters coverage. Rudolph generally throws to his first look, so those DB's will look to be close and Poyer and Hyde will look to jump the routes.

I dont like the chances, but will be hopefully an entertaining game.
You should audition for a Bills coach!

The Bills did some three safety stuff that seemed to put a lid on Hill deep and confuse tua.

Perhaps they play some of this on Pickens and Rudolph?

Huh, didn't think about us playing the Bills. I was actually confused for a moment as I was more focused on Miami beating the Bills and the Houstons losing.

It's going to be an uphill battle, but I think it may be possible, especially if we get a couple of our other players back. Saturday's lineup minus Watt isn't going to do it on defense.

I'm not sure that you need 3 Safeties vs the Steelers receivers, like the Dolphins to protect against the deep pass. I could see playing nickel with 3 Safeties vs the Steelers 13 personel group to put an extra tackler in the box, but also have athletes like Hyde, Poyer and Rapp to handle the play action run off of 13.

I would load up on the run defense and get Steelers in longer distance on 3rd downs. Then either bracket Pickens and make others beat you. Steelers should anticipate something like that and look to have Austin more involved in the passing game opposite Pickens to take safety coverage and that should open things more for Friermuth and Johnson in the seams.

Honestly, Rudolph doesnt move anybody with his eyes. He looks at his first read and is making quick decisions to throw, so the play where one of the Ravens almost picked off a short pass was not surprising. The TD to Johnson was, as the Safety should have just read his eyes and gone to the #2 receiver (DJ) and jumped that route instead of looking at the TE. Good safeties like Hyde and Poyer will not let that go as easily as the Ravens backup.

Steelers need to watch the tapes in the first half of the season when the Bills looked bad and my opinion what made them look bad is, they didn't have much of a run game and Josh was forcing the ball to Diggs to much and trying to play hero ball.

Weather is going to be snowing and freezing. Yes, JA is used to playing in that but I think that helps negate where they are way better than us at QB. 2 turnovers from him and 150+ from Najee/Jaylen and we have a decent enough chance

They’ve just been terrible with play selection on 2nd down.

Bills should renegotiate and sign him as a number 2 next year.

Mason Cole is a key and the anchor of the line, if he has a good game that means our running game was good and MR probably had time also.

another key is Highsmith and the OLB’s and Austin (dial up some blitzes in TJ’s absence) they have to make Allen uncomfortable. If O line and Highsmith have a good game I like our chances

Not sure that I agree with that.A player in our secondary was just running around. Had no clue what he was doing….but giving him the benefit, he just came off the practice squad.
